About the album...  Jack Pine and The Fire’s 2nd Full length album, Left To Our
Own Devices, was written at an island cabin built by
Grandpappy Jack in remote Northern Ontario, Canada.
The isolation inherent to this wild and unique site inspired
Jack Pine [aka Singer-Songwriter-Producer, Gareth Auden-
Hole] to write about loneliness, love, and longing; While the
contrast to Jack’s home life in Capital City Ottawa led him
to appreciate a simpler approach to life, and to celebrate a
natural world that’s so often neglected. Lef t To Our Own
Devices is about relationships… To ourselves, to each other,
and to the earth. Released September 8, 2017.
